Carnarvon Station was a cattle station for 140 years and was purchased by Bush Heritage and turned into a Conservation Reserve.
Abutting Queensland's Carnarvon Gorge National Park, this is one of the few remaining strongholds for woodland species largely lost to the rest of eastern Australia.
