Located in the Northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. The park is located 30 km west Anuradhapura and located 26 km north of Puttalam (approximately 180 km north of Colombo). We stayed at Wilpattu House Cottages / Bungalow http://www.wilpattuhouse.com/ which is an isolated tranquil, rustic no frills nature stay and similar to homestay. It is located by the Wilpattu National Park entrance at Eluwankulam, on the Puttalam-Mannar Road.
